It’s the British Columbia Hockey League’s golden anniversary this season and all 16 teams are getting in on the festivities with Celebration Weekend Nov. 25 and 26.
Teams have paired off and will face each other on consecutive nights in home-and-home meetings. On Friday, Nov. 25, the following matchups are set:

Penticton Vees @ Chilliwack Chiefs
Langley Rivermen @ Coquitlam Express
Cowichan Valley Capitals @ Victoria Grizzlies
Merritt Centennials @ Prince George Spruce Kings
Surrey Eagles @ Powell River Kings
Salmon Arm SilverBacks @ Vernon Vipers
Trail Smoke Eaters @ Westside Warriors
The following night will see the same matchups in the other team’s building.
Each BCHL team has offers and promotions planned for their home game. Team-signed jerseys, sticks and other memorabilia will be auctioned or raffled off to raise money for KidSport. Contact your local club to find out more.
