It wasn’t that long ago that Devin Brosseau was setting up plays for the Nanaimo Clippers in the BCHL.
Now, he’s doing the same as a freshman for the Golden Knights of Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.
The 6-foot-1, 193-pound forward had two assists each night as Clarkson split a weekend set of games against Merrimack and New Hampshire. Brosseau set up the first two goals of the game in a 4-0 win over Merrimack and assisted on his team’s second and third goals in a 5-3 loss to New Hampshire the next night.
Brosseau’s four helpers currently have him atop the Golden Knights in scoring.
In three seasons with the Clippers, the native of Saint-Lambert, Que. rang up 58 goals and 96 assists for 154 points in 144 games.
