During the first, Gulka opened the scoring for Langley with a goal at 6:30 with helpers from his linemates, Ponak and Budy. Wojciechowski netted a goal at 14:44 with helpers from his teammates Butte and Capstick.
In the second period, Budy put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:57 with an assist from his linemate Leduc. Ponak scored a goal at 17:14 with helpers from his linemates, Leyh and Kimens.
During the third, Budy netted a goal at 9:20 with assists from Livingstone and Capstick. Dhaliwal finally put the Warriors on the board with a goal at 11:41 with helpers from his linemates, Campese and Stevenson. Murphy deposited a goal at 17:01 with assists from his linemates, Norlin and Kowalski.
The Rivermen’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Fleming’s big night as he stopped 37 of the 39 shots he faced. On the other hand, Fleming’s counterpart, Amundrud, and the Warriors’ defense had some trouble allowing 5 goals in 28 shots.
