The Silverbacks defeat the Express 5-3

The Salmon Arm Silverbacks' offense had a big night, peppering the Coquitlam Express with 46 shots throughout the game. The Salmon Arm Silverbacks took the lead early in the third on a goal from Logan Mostat.

Logan Mostat chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Jordan Schulting contributed with 2 assists.

During the first, Constable opened the scoring for the Silverbacks with a goal at 4:05 with helpers from his teammates Mitchell and Hora. Kozlowski answered for Coquitlam with a goal at 9:36 with helpers from Sanda and Schulting. Wakeford answered for Salmon Arm with a goal at 18:25 with assists from his linemates, Unruh and Mostat.

During the second, Adams deposited a goal at 4:55. Ambrosio answered for the Express with a goal at 10:58 with assists from Schulting and Newsome.

In the third, Bosa scored a goal at 1:48 with helpers from his linemates, Johnson and Graham. Mostat answered for the Silverbacks with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:57 with helpers from Chorney and Stapley. Kingston netted a goal at 19:32 with an assist from Campbell.

Salmon Arm’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Tallarico as he stopped 18 of the 21 shots he faced. Tallarico’s counterpart, Stevenson, also had a big night, managing to stop 41 of 45, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Salmon Arm Silverbacks’ record to (3-4-0-0).
